Service Description

Get unstuck from survival mode with mindfulness-based nervous system coaching for clarity, grounding and choice. If you can be okay one moment and then suddenly feel hijacked the next, you are not broken. Your nervous system is doing what it was designed to do. Our 1:1 Nervous System Coaching Session is a single-session coaching offering that blends nervous system education, body-based tools, and practical planning so you can build more access to choice over time. This is not about forcing calm. This is about learning your patterns and building conditions that help your system return to steadiness more often. This is coaching and psychoeducation, not therapy. My approach and training: My work is informed by transpersonal, mindfulness-based counseling. That means I pay attention to the whole human. Your nervous system, yes. Also your meaning-making, values, identity, and the parts of you that are trying to protect something sacred. Mindfulness is not used here as a way to bypass pain or force calm. It is used as a skill for building awareness, increasing choice, and staying connected to yourself when your system gets loud. Transpersonal work helps us relate to what you are experiencing with more compassion and less shame. It supports the shift from surviving to living. This is for you if: You cycle between anxiety, urgency, anger, overfunctioning, or control You shut down, go numb, disappear, or lose words under stress You understand your patterns intellectually but your body does not cooperate You want tools that work even when you cannot think your way out You want structure and next steps, not endless analysis What we will do in our session In our time together, we focus on three things: 1) Map your state We identify your current patterns using the Butterfly Blueprint framework: Butterfly (connection and choice), Armor (mobilization and protection), Chrysalis (shutdown and conservation). 2) Practice the tools You will learn simple, body-based practices that signal safety to the nervous system, including orientation, breath-based downshifting, and bilateral stimulation exercises inspired by evidence-informed trauma-informed methods. 3) Build your plan We turn insight into action by creating a realistic plan for the next week. Sleep, food, stimulation, boundaries, movement, connection, and recovery all count.
